Driven by my passion for sustainability and economics, this research delves into how sustainable rice farming methods like Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) and Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) impact India’s agrarian economy, empower farmers by reducing costs and improving yields, and contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. By analyzing secondary data, I explored how these practices promote economic resilience among farmers while addressing critical environmental challenges, aiming to highlight their role in shaping a sustainable and equitable future.
